No. The depth and quality of information matter more than the number of submissions.
How are the Silver Plate winners chosen?
+
The Gold & Silver Plate Society (past winners) serve as the pre-screen jury, narrowing the submission to a final slate in their respective segments. The jury – made up of industry experts, trade media, and past Silver Plate winners – then review the final slate, deliberate in person, and vote on a Silver Plate Winner in each category. On occasion, the jury may determine there is not a deserving candidate in a category.
How is the Gold Plate Winner chosen?
+
Once the jury selects the Silver Plate Winners, they vote – via secret ballot – for one Gold Plate Winner. The votes are tallied by our independent auditor and only revealed on stage at the awards celebration.
